Such is the case for our family. Our style is what is known as "eclectic". I am VERY interested in the classical method of homeschooling, and each year I try to add a little more of the classical approach to our studies. </div> <div> This coming school year (2002-2003) we will be using <A HREF="http://www.cadroncreek.com" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.cadroncreek.com"><U>The Prairie Primer</U></A>, a unit study based on the "Little House" books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. It doesn't exactly fit in with the schedule in <A HREF="http://www.welltrainedmind.com" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.welltrainedmind.com"><U>The Well Trained Mind</U></A>, but it is based on classic American literature and the Bible, it's what the boys wanted to use, and it fits in chronologically with our studies of early American history this past school year. </div> <bR> <div> We will also start learning Latin this year, by learning the 100 Latin and Greek root words in the book, <U>English From the Roots Up</U>.</div> <bR> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
